Chapter 1: A New Life
John sniffs out two Chimera while staring into the forest from his backyard. Impressed they allow him to join their clan and he becomes an Apprentice. Taught the basics of the chimera life style. Later he starts to have incomprehensible nightmares before meeting a Star clan guardian in his dreams.
Chapter 2: Rocky Beginnings
Tensions about Brighthope’s place in the forest heat up as human authorities begin venturing into the forest in search for the runaway child, causing a hidden conflict within the clan on whether he should be truly welcomed given the risk to their society being discovered. Additional frustrations arise as Brighthope finds himself displeased with the passive nature of Longstar’s training, as she attempts to ready him for the less action focused parts of clan life before the next forest gathering in the coming month…
Chapter 3: Of Minds And Muscle
After dreams warning him of a coming attack, Brighthope begins to asking questions in hopes of finding a way to stop it before it happens while trying to balance School and Warrior Training.
